Apple TV 2.0 Reviewed

apple-tv-2.pngArs Technica reviews the recently revamped Apple TV, version 2.0. Apple TV delivers videos & TV shows rented from iTunes to your TV.

Ars Technica liked the price, quality and ease of use of the thing. However, they ween’t so happy with the device’s inability to play other video formats, and the quality of HD video playback. They said AT2 is great for avoiding trips to the video rental store, and doing all that from the comfort of your living room.

It seems like the Apple TV has been in gestation for a long time. Could interactive TV be a dead end?
