Photo Finder – Geotagging for your Photos

by GadgetManiac on March 16, 2008

photo-finder.jpgATP Electronics introduced their Photo Finder product at CES 2008, and it’s now becoming available. The idea is to take some pictures with your regular camera, remove the memory card from the camera, insert it into the Photo Finder, which will then proceed to add GPS data to all pictures on the card. Objective being to go to Picasa2 or Google Earth to try to figure out where you were when you took those pictures.

This is a useful feature. Sometimes I look at old photos and wonder where I was when I took them.

This is especially useful for photos taken when you’d just had one too many.
