CNet reviews the new SanDisk Sansa Fuze and awards it 7.3 out of 10.
Seems that while they appreciated the unit’s low cost and compact size, they were less fond of the interface (blah) and the screen (dingy look to it).
Their bottom line was that while the Fuze was deemed to be a “Very Good” and a “great value”, it did not look like they were eager to go out and actually buy one.

it’s surprising they would say a product whose screen and interface they dislike was “very good.”
I guess sound quality weighs far more heavily than screen quality.
