Siafu – PC for the Blind

by GadgetManiac on March 5, 2008

siafu.jpgSiafu is a blind species of ant found in central Africa, and has now been adopted as the name for a concept PC for the visually impaired.

Designed by Jonathan Lucas, the keyboard is composed of Magneclay, an oil based synthetic agent that possesses limitless morphing capabilities. Great concept, but unfortunately, not only does Magneclay not yet exist, it might be physically impossible.

It’s a great idea–surfing the web and instant messaging in Braille. I’m sure it’s time will come.
