Compete crunched the numbers for Feb 2008 and found that visits to social networking sites continue to increase. MySpace eg is closing in on a billion monthly visits…that’s a large number. Facebook is continuing to grow, but remains behind numero uno. The also-rans also grew but remain far behind.

I think it was the summer or fall of 2008 when Facebook really started to take over the world.
