Viruses Gone Wild

The Washington Post reports that creators of malware have become the most productive of all industrial sector workers, having quadrupled their output in a mere two years. Apparently 5.5 million new viruses and other new malware programs were detected last years, and more than 1 million were found in the 1st 2 months of 2008.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics would like to document the prowess of these virus writers and analyze their production techniques, but is having difficulty locating these individuals for some reason…
