Lifehacker rates paper-based notebooks – those that are intended strictly for off-grid use. They had readers vote for either Moleskine, Field Notes, Circa Modular Notebook, Chronotebook, Myndology Keyring Notebooks … or the ever-popular None of the Above.
Of the 3578 votes cast as of 04/13/2008, the Moleskine notebook was the clear winner, getting the nod of approval from nearly 2/3 of Lifehacker readers. Circa Modular was second, with NotA third.
These no-tech notebooks are small and light-weight, have non-volatile memory, are virus-proof & hacker-proof and are powered by a processor estimated to operate at about 100 teraflops (i.e., you). On the down side, display size is smallish and file-sharing can be a pain.

I have to admit that your current blog site is pretty topical. I have been investing lots of effort over the last couple months seeking at what exactly is on the market driven by simple fact that I’m arranging to launch a blog. The tips you have put on here is largely to the point. It just is perceived as so unclear concerning all the modern advances that are out there, but I appreciate the way your looks. Gotta adore where software has come during the previous ten yrs.
I don’t know about hacker-proof. My 2-year-old niece hacked into one of my notebooks once and scribbled all over it with crayon.
Even better, with these notebooks you don’t have to worry about spam or malware!
