Sony’s new HDR-TG1 camcorder records 1920x1080i video in what Sony says is the world’s smallest and lightest high-definition video camera.

Ten oz at 1.3×4.7×2.5-inches, or 300 gr at 32x119x63mm. Records on those handy & ubiquitous Sony Memory Stick PRO Duo or PRO Duo Mark2 media cards. $900.

the scary thing about tiny hd camcorders is they’re so easy to hide and use for spying purposes.

Yeah, with HD cameras, I now have to make sure I look my best before someone starts filming me.
