Some Dutch LED distributor named Van Der Led seems to have inked a distro deal with a Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer. Van Der Led now supplements their line of lighting business products with a low-priced Loongson-based funnily-named Jisus notebook, some MP3 players and a growing cellphone line.
They’ve just introduced the nice-looking MW2 cellphone watch to their product line. The innovative MW2 has the keys on the wrist band, and will sell for about $474.43. The MW2 sizes to 62×45.5×17.6 mm, is quad-band with 2 antennas, a 1.3-inch touch screen, 1.3 megapixel camera, FM radio, dual stereo-bluetooth headset, voice recording, support for MP3, MP4, GPRS, WAP & STK, smartphone functions and support for 11 languages.
The MW2 is supposed to be available Monday 14 April, 2008 … we’re calling vaporware until then, and hope to be proven wrong.
