…we’re guessing that the SV1 will likely be a modest failure, not because there’s anything wrong with it, but rather because people never warmed to the videophone, as explained in Wikipedia.

It always surprised me that there were so few people interested in a video phone. It seems like something that, on paper anyway, a lot of people would want.
People seem to be coming around to the idea now, although I have to admit the idea still puts me off a little. I’m not sure why.
