I am an avid reader. I am 58 years old. From the time I learned how to read until today, I have always read. I have used reading as an escape from everyday stress to just the pleasure of reading. This is the most amazing device I have ever encountered. I purchased the latest version of the regular Kindle so I cannot compare it to the first version. I find it very easy to navigate around the device. I like the size, the light weight and being able to change font size so it is easier to see the type. I have tried very hard to think of a negative to this device. One negative is you cannot loan a book to a friend if it is on your Kindle. I have hundreds of books on my shelves. I eventually would like to buy them for my Kindle. That is the bad news however the good news is no more books to move. I carried my Kindle with me on a trip. It worked wonderfully. I also knew if I finished by book I could easily download another one.
