10- This window will give you all the information you need to setup your account. If you will ever have a problem on this step of the process, it will most likely be with your username. There are two ways to enter your username. You can either use good practices and enter it as Exchange and Apple want you to which is: Domain\Username. If your domain says: AD9 and your username is joedoe@domain.com then enter your username as: ad9\joedoe@domain.com. Or you can simply type your username only and ignore the “domain\” part. Both works in mail2web.

11- Once you did enter your info, continue with the setup by touching “NEXT” button.

12- If everything goes well, then you should have your Exchange Account ready to use. You may continue to customize for your own needs like not disabling sync for contacts, calendars etc. Keep in mind that iPhone ActiveSync does not sync Notes which is a bummer.

At the first synchronisation between my iPhone and outlook under mail2web iphone warns me that all my contacts (over 700) and dates (over 500) will get lost if i continue. So I don’t take the risk. What can I do to export my contacts and dates from iphone to mail2web during first exchange?

I got to same place and stopped for fear of wiping out Address Book contacts and iCAL appointments. I have personal contacts/appts in Mac Address book/iCal and Business info in Outlook. Trying to get both on iPhone. How do the contacts and appointments synced from Outlook via Mail2Web combine with Mac info?

What can I do to import my contacts and dates (from iphone, Outlook, .csv, or what else) to mail2web?

    Tim Attwood

    Hello Frank,

Of course you can synchronize your contacts from your iPhone as outlined above, or use ActiveSync from any supported device.

If you are a subscriber of our Personal Exchange or Business Exchange service, we also provide a PST file import from the control panel at https://support.mail2web.com.

And also Business Exchange customers can import directly from Outlook into their Exchange Account.

    Hello Luis,

The Samsung Instinct does not support ActiveSync. But it does support some type of syncing of emails, calendars and cotacts via OWA (Outlook Web Access), which is included with mail2web LIVE. However, you may need to install some updates on your device to get all of the functionality. You can contact Sprint/Nextel for assistance.

I dont see the import address book option under your support admin panel. I have :

    view email settings
    view activesync settings
    view iphone settings
    view disk space usage
    cancel account

    Hello Joel,

The Control Panel import/export features are available for mail2web.com Personal Exchange and Business Exchange customers. If you have mail2web LIVE (free version) you will not see the option in the control panel. You can still import or export to your account through your device.

If you want to add these features to your control panel you can upgrade your mail2web LIVE account to Personal Exchange by clicking on the “Edit” button to the right of the “Plan: mail2web LIVE”.

    Hope this helps!

    Re: Mail2Web Live.
    I have Iphone 2G w/ 2.2.1 firmware

I received Mail2Web config file via SMS for quick setup
Iphone Settings show Mail-Calendar-Contact set to Push

I have mail pushed – Very Nice!

Calendars, although set to Synced through (ITunes reflects this as well) Mail2Web does not sync my Iphone dates with it’s Online Web Calendar.

    Contacts: Same as Calendar

When I reset Contacts: I.E. I set Sync OFF in IPhone settings, All contacts disapeared on my IPhone.

When I set Contacts back to ON, All contacts still disapeared.

Any Mail2Web Calendar and Contacts Sync FAQ cannot be found here.

Does anyone know where I can go to get information on proper setup for Iphone?

I am also aware most Exchange systems require an upload of contacts before syncing as plenty articles state syncing without this will delete all your contacts.

    Cheers
