We have recently been made aware of a phishing scam targeting domain name owners who have registered their domain name through Network Solutions. The phishing attempt attempts to fool domain name owners into visiting a fake website that looks like Network Solutions and providing their login details. This fake site then captures the username and password and the scammers will then attempt to take possession of the domain name for themselves.
For more information regarding this phishing scam, we encourage you to read our full posting on the myhosting.com Blog.
If you have registered your domain name with myhosting.com or mail2web.com, and you have received a suspicious email like this, we ask you to forward the email to our Customer Support Department. If you have any questions or concerns we invite you to contact us further assistance.
Thank you,
