We have recently launched some new web sites which we hope will help enhance the mail2web.com Customer Experience. As some of you may have already noticed, the redesign has already been launched on our Help page. In addition to the familiar Control Panel and Contact options, we have also featured a few new sites.
Status Blog: With the Status Blog we plan to post periodic updates regarding any maintenance, upgrades or service status that may affect the services you have with mail2web.com. As maintenance is scheduled we will post updates here. Also, if there happen to be any service interruptions, we will post status updates on this blog frequently until the issues are resolved.
Blog: Since you are already reading this, you may already be familiar with our Blog. The primary goal of this blog is to post updates and news for all things related to mail2web.com, from new product announcements, to service changes, and anything which we think you may find interesting.
Wiki: Most internet users are familiar with Wikipedia.org. Our Wiki takes on a format similar to Wikipedia.org, but is specific to information about the products and services offered by mail2web.com. This Wiki will replace our previous Knowledge Base, and we hope to improve and expand on the information contained there over the coming months.
Forums: With the new forums we hope to be able to engage you, our customers and users, in useful dialog on many different subjects. The forum is not meant to replace our Customer Support team, but rather provide a way for customers to interact with each other and share information and solutions to problems.
Ideas: We’re always looking for new ideas and new services to provide. If you have any suggestions for something you’d like to see us do, or even something we already do that you wish we’d do better, we’d love to hear it. And if someone posted an idea you like, you can vote for it. There’s power in numbers so if your idea is the best, it could become a reality before you know it.
But the most important part of our new community is the “U”. With contributions from our loyal users and customers, this launch will be even more successful. But how can you start contributing? Well, if you already have an account with mail2web.com, you can log into any of our community web sites with your username and password. For example, if you have a Personal Home page like http://mail2web.com/NAME you can just log in with the NAME part and your password. Or if you have a mail2web LIVE email account and your email address is NAME@mail2web.com, just log in with NAME and your password.
And we’d love to hear from each and every one of you, so why not check it out?
Thanks,
Tim Attwood

I had a personal homepage prior to the update. Now I cannot figure out how/where to access it. It appears that the account has been kept b/c I was told my username was already being used when I tried to create a new homepage. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Hi Julie,
We didn’t move any personal homepages. Just try typing in mail2web.com/your-name into your browser, it should come up!

For the past several months, when I check my email, I am unable to view any attachments. I always get an error message “webpage not available”, even if it’s not a web page link, but a downloadable document. This happens on one particular computer.
Please advise why this is happening? Is there some setting I need to change?

Hi Shelley R,
This is Birge, Community Manager of mail2web.
Which web browser (Firefox, Chrome, Internet Explorer) are you using? mail2web is working best on Internet Explorer.
Maybe you can try to clean up the cookies of your browser.
I hope this will be helpful.
Let me know if I can be further help.
Thank you,
Birge
