Apple does a good job of making their setups easy, so you can get going with a new program or device as soon as possible.

Support for Exch 2003 I'm sad to say is just as limited as Entourage 2008. Just mail, calendar and address book. No notes or tasks. You have to connect via IMAP to sync it.

I'm thinking of upgrading to Exch 7 for the sync ability of notes and tasks.

I’ve heard there are some wildlife groups trying to get Apple to do more stuff with the actual S.L.’s lol. I don’t know- people are saying it’s good PR for Apple- they should jump on that.

The "Exchange" server support in Snow Leopard requires Exchange Web Services, which is only available in Exchange Server 2007, SP1 (Update Rollup 4), so Exchange 2003 support is not going to come from Apple at any time.

This doesn't affect Mail2Web who are hosting Exchange 2007 Services anyway.

As I recall, AutoDiscover is a feature of Exchange 2007. You can most likely add your Exchange 2003 account on your Snow Leopard Mac but you will have to configure it manually.

Currently all of our mail2web.com Mobile Email and myhosting.com Hosted Exchange Email services are on Exchange 2007. If you'd like to upgrade your Exchange 2003 service you could sign up for an account with us! :)
