HTC’s new HTC Touch 2 Smartphone is drawing attention with its compact view and elegant features. The HTC Touch 2 has Windows Mobile 6.5 OS installed and includes new services such as Microsoft My Phone and Microsoft Marketplace for Mobile. Windows Marketplace for Mobile allows you to access and download new applications and the My Phone service help you store and share data on the phone, including pictures, music and contacts.
It has the same interface as TouchFLO and the usual HTC aspects. The Touch 2 also includes Google Maps for Mobile and YouTube connection. Its larger touch screen and extended battery are so far receiving applause.
The HTC Touch 2 Smartphone has powerful messaging, surfing and Windows Mobile 6.5 syncing features. It also supports Microsoft Exchange and it is possible to use multiple email accounts. It includes re-designed Internet Explorer Mobile application, which allows browsing web pages similar to desktop computers and it supports Adobe Flash, too. Its zoom and pan features make searching easier.
It is expected to be launched on October 6th and will be the one of the first phones to have the title of “Windows Phone”. “The new HTC Touch 2 Smartphone delivers a familiar touch experience that millions of people have come to expect and rely on from HTC in their daily lives,” said Peter Chou, Chief Executive Officer of HTC Corporation. “Whether it’s making a phone call, checking in with a friend or simply responding to an important e-mail, the HTC Touch 2 handset puts you in touch and in control.”
