Nokia launched N97 Mini officially two days ago in Stuttgart, Germany. It looks more compact than its older brother, the N97, however it’s definitely not “mini”. Lifecasting enables users to update their Facebook status directly from the device’s home screen. The Nokia N97 Mini works with Ovi Store where users can download new applications, widgets and ringtones.
It has a 3.2 inch 640X360 pixel touch-screen, full QWERTY keyboard, 5 MP Carl Zeiss camera, VGA video recording, double LED flash, 8GB internal memory, FM radio, microSD card drive, 3G support, Bluetooth, USB, HSDPA, WLAN, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3.5mm head set and TV output. It can playback up to 28 hours music and has 12 days of standby time. Nokia N97 Mini is 14.2mm thick and its retail price will be about 450€.

Some good points there. That aside, my next phone will definately be a Nokia.
Looks awesome..But the N97 (original version) has a nice size to it already..although a bit bulky it feels comfortable…It defiantly isn’t the same with the smaller screen,it wont have that “n97″ experince.
i have had my nokia N97 for 6 months now and since i got ive had nothing BUT trouble, first the internet was disconnecting me while i was logged into websites like banking, when the phone went died and i recharged it, i had to pull the battery out and turn it back on. Then when i was ringing people they couldn’t hear me. Then my navigator was telling me that it had expired when ive only had it 6 months, and my battery was faulty.
Now after waiting 2 weeks to get my phone back from nokia (yes it took them 2 weeks to get a battery) i cant make or receive calls and my internet is done but only in selected areas. I rang Vodafone & nokia and they sugested i get a replacement phone but the store i got it through said i couldn’t
