Data Center Migration: The Light at the End of the Tunnel!

by Jeremy Adams on October 22, 2009

With the majority of our systems now running smoothly at their new location, the great task that is relocating a data center is almost complete!

While the fruits of our labor are largely yet to be enjoyed, you can rest assured that this move will be beneficial to all involved. Improvements to nearly every area of service from our basic network infrastructure, to upgrade-ability and reliability, these are just the beginning of what’s in store.

Technically speaking, the benefits include:

  • A Larger Space to better house our growing infrastructure
  • Improved access to carrier grade network providers
  • Even better environmental service levels
  • Access to a fully upgraded network infrastructure

Here you can see we’re not just keeping up with the pack, but pushing the envelope further. Creating a system that can surf the wave of web trends by adopting leading edge technologies from trusted vendors to keep us, and you, ahead of the pack.

What this all really means is we’re eliminating any potential limitations at the base of our service. The further a tree’s roots can spread, the taller and stronger a tree can grow. By removing the roadblocks and allowing our roots room to spread and strengthen, we enable ourselves to branch out as never before.

The service maintenance this weekend will be a major last step towards this move. Stay tuned for the many exciting directions we will be taking and for updates on your service!

Belated congratulations on your relocation. I can’t imagine all the work that must have gone into this move.

It’s great that you are taking environmental factors into consideration along with everything else.
