Fring made a press release, today. Now you can make video calls from your smart phones, for free. This is the first VoIP service on the iPhone/iPod Touches. The video feature is embedded within fring. Thereby fring users can talk to other fring users, Skype and Gtalk users as well as on regular phone like via Skype-Out and other SIP services. The new fring version with video calls support currently available for iPhone/ iPod touch OS 3.0 (only incoming video-stream available, due to the location of the camera) and selected Nokia Symbian S60 devices (2-way video streaming is available).fring

I can’t believe Fring lets you make video calls for free. Are they making that much money off of ads?

I don’t know how much I like the idea of video calls. I think my face could be frightening to people late at night.
