First, please watch this ad and tell us the targeting product…
Eek, HTC Pure is the wrong answer! It’s Windows Mobile 6.5 or Windows Phone “the platform”. Microsoft could be touchier about it and underline the platform rather than the device, but this ad fails in that regard. It clearly labels the HTC Pure a Windows Phone, but we don’t see the platform separate of the device or on other devices. Many tech-sites, like engadget.com, also feel the commercial misses the point. However, I think the icon-people are cute and just the heading is wrong. What do you think about it??

Yeah, I wouldn’t have thought this was an ad for the platform, either. But the icon-people are cool; I’m sure kids are attracted to this commercial b/c of them.
On the plus side, this ad not only highlighted the device but did so really effectively, I think.
