1 – Why can’t I change my password?

The reason for this is because we do not host your email address. Without us hosting your email address, we would not be able to change any passwords or fix any errors. This must be done with whoever you host with, or whoever manages your email account.

2 – Why can’t I log in?

There may be a few reasons for this. First one being you may need to use the advanced log in. You will need your incoming email server to log in, in addition to your email address and password. Another reason could be that your email host has disabled 3rd party webmail access, or to use their own web mail login.

3 – Why can’t I view my sent messages?

This is because mail2web does not store, or save your email. If you did need the abilities to read your sent email items, consider signing up for a mail2web mobile email or hosted exchange account.

These types of blog posts are my absolute favorites. While staying in the loop with technology and stuff is great, there’s nothing better than a good resourceful post that tells users why they can’t do certain things.

A few simple FAQ’s and answers like this is a great resource!

It might be good to delve a little deeper into #3 if you ask me, it seems like it was a bit cut short. What are the differences between the regular package and the other two that give you the ability to read your sent mail? What else do they offer? Reading sent mail seems like something that everyone would want to be able to do, so it’s a little odd that it’s not saved. I guess you could always mail it to yourself as well so you’d have a copy though.

It’s funny to me that people would think that they could change their password through you guys instead of the actual mail carrier.I guess I can understand their line of thinking but it really is kind of illogical.
