The amount of rapidly changing information we need to keep our businesses competitive and our jobs secure can be mind-boggling if managed ineffectively. The number of contacts one makes on a daily basis would make your wallet of business cards burst before lunch. Luckily, with Microsoft Exchange and Mobile Email, you can keep your contacts up to date, and keep those contacts within easy reach, no matter what challenges you may encounter. The Mobile Email cloud is a fast and effective contingency plan; even if you lose your device while traveling or commuting, you haven’t lost your contacts or your email. ActiveSync, developed by Microsoft, allows integration with virtually any mobile device and for those with those few devices not supported, Mobile Email has a solution be it Blackberry Enterprise Server for your Blackberry or RoadSync for your Symbian or other cell phone. Mobile Email keeps you in the loop no matter where you are, or what device you happen to be using.
ActiveSync Direct Push: Instant Contact Access
ActiveSync Direct Push allows you to quickly access the contacts you entered before you ran out the door. Say you’re en route to a meeting, but you had virtually no time to prepare before leaving the office. With your iPhone, you can use the ActiveSync to maintain instant access to the names of the people you are meeting, with all of the information you included in their files, giving you an informed advantage over the other participants in the meeting. If you can’t remember how to spell someone’s name, or need to access a particularly new piece of information, you don’t have rush to your office computer to gather it.
Entering New Contacts on the Go
Of course, part of the thrill of going outside of the office and attending meetings are the people you meet along the way. Being able to instantly jot down notes and contact information about someone you have just met is an invaluable tool in business. You don’t have to lug around their business card and worry about it getting lost in the shuffle between meetings, or during long transatlantic flights. Exchange ActiveSync easily connects your Windows Phone to allow you to make instant additions and updates. Don’t wait for that clever joke or important note to fade away in your memory; input it instantly, and it will be on file forever. With Exchange ActiveSync you can add business contacts, change email addresses on the fly and never worry about those changes getting lost due to a dying battery. The instantaneous sync between your Windows Phone and the email cloud means that as soon as you input information, it is stored in the system. Even more importantly, with Exchange, you can compose emails and be rest assured that they will be stored on the central cloud server, and not lost in cyberspace.
Integration and Addresses with your Map App
Finding your way to a meeting is incredibly easy with the functionality of Mobile Email and your mobile device. Not only do you have instantaneous access to your updated contact list, but you can instantly plot those contacts into Google maps on your Palm. Now, you never have to worry about finding your way around an unfamiliar city or peculiar office block. Did your assistant give you bad directions? You can instantly find your destination with a few quick keystrokes. ActiveSync will also automatically delete duplicate information, keeping your contacts list lean and mean.
Safely Stored Contacts, No Matter What!
The Direct Push feature allows you to instantly update your contacts and store them on the Mobile Email cloud. This is especially handy if you’ve been on an international trip and have been diligently updating your contacts. It’s been a long day, you’re halfway through customs when you realize you have lost your Android device! However, there’s no need to panic thanks to Mobile Email, all of your contact information is stored on the Exchange server ready to be reloaded on the new device when you get it. Imagine this same scenario without the incredible convenience of having all of your information stored on a central computer server. All the location-based work of your trip, including the people you met and the notes you took, would be irretrievably lost.
Instant, Versatile, and Guaranteed
Mobile Email takes the stress out of business communication and contacts and allows you to focus on the work at hand. All the information you need will be there when you need it, no matter what device you’re using. The instantaneous functionality of ActiveSync will work with virtually any mobile device you use to integrate the functionality of the machine with the guaranteed storage of Mobile Email. Don’t hold your business hostage with a battery-powered machine; let ActiveSync give you the peace of mind and reassurance you need to get the job done, without fail.

I really love the activesync concept. Syncing between multiple things is almost always difficult so finding simple ways to do it can really save a lot of time and hassle.
Nothing is worse than having your most important pieces of technology out of whack with each other.
I cant even begin to relay how useful this service would have been to me in the past at times. There have been so many occasions where I have needed information for people and places that I have stored in my mail but dont have access to.
This would have been great during those moments.
I am so right there with you Jack-O. The direct push feature sounds like an aspect that would be really beneficial also. Nothing is worse than having to wait for things to show up, or manually do something to make them show up when you expect it to happen on it’s own as is the case with some mail providers.
I agree with all of tehse points. Automatic and seamless access to contacts makes personal and professional communication so much easier.
