Due to the myriad features smartphones provide, there has been an increasing growth in the demand for smartphones. Every person especially business persons are going completely gaga over the features provided in the smartphones. Much to the delight, the ever-evolving technology is making it tough for people to select the right kind of smartphone.
There is no doubt that all smartphones contain enormous amount of useful business related features, such as, the Wi-Fi, GPRS, WLAN, A2DP, USB and Bluetooth. However, the question remains on how a person can differentiate a better smartphone from a good one. Below is a comparison of smartphones based on the Hardware and Operating system (OS) they use and, on connectivity and Networks.
Comparison of Smartphones based on Hardware and OS:
Hardware in the smartphone includes the camera features, the keyboard and CPU, ROM and RAM, whereas, the OS is the system, which the phone uses to function. All the smartphones vary in terms of RAM, but if your desire is to store loads of data in your phone, then you should look at the Nokia N97 and Apple iPhone 3G, which has an RAM of 32 GB. However, if you are into photography and love to take pictures, then you should definitely check out the Samsung SGH-i8000 Omnia II, which has a 5mp face detection, smile detection, geo tagging, Auto focus and Dual LED flash camera. As far as the OS is concerned, majority of smartphones use the Windows mobile 6.1; however, some also use the Symbian OS series.
Comparison of Smartphones based on Network and Connectivity
Not all smartphones support all types of network technologies. Thus, it is best to select a phone that supports majority of network technologies. This is because, the connectivity features heavily, depend on the network technology you use. For instance, you will get a GPRS connection on a 3G and GSM network, but you won’t get it on a CDMA network. Majority of smartphones contain the Bluetooth connection. If you want a phone compatible with all types of Network technologies, then you should look at the Samsung Omnia, which supports all types of network technologies, such as, the CDMA, GSm, 3G and UMTS.
Everything said and done, with full respect to technology, there can be no comparison between smartphones, as a person should look for smartphones, which best meets requisite needs and requirements.

I have heard some great things about the Samsung Omnia aside from the connectivity–easy to use, fast, etc.
It’s kind of nice to know that you can’t really compare smartphones, and that there’s a smartphone somewhere out there that’s perfect for your needs.
Right now, Blutooth is probably the most important thing to me in terms of connectivity.
