You are an excellent diver. When you are underwater, you explore a whole different world and of course you want to share with your friends and family, what you are seeing. Underwater cameras are incredibly expensive, but there are some other solutions for underwater photography. H2O Audio’s Terminator Capture Case allows you to shoot photos for a reasonable price. For $79.99 you can smile with the fishes, if you have an iPod nano 5G. The H2O Audio case has an integrated video recorder for iPod nano 5G’s. By the way, Capture case also contains a waterproof headphone jack to listen music. But don’t dive deep, it won’t work beyond 12 feet of water.
Usb 2.0 will soon be a thing of the past. While USB 2.0 devices transfer 60 mb/s that is quickly becoming quite insufficient… Thanks to modern technology, we forge ahead and start talking USB 3.0 devices. Increased transfer rates up to 623MB/s means 10 times faster than USB 2.0. To put it another way, transferring 25 GB of data takes only 70 seconds instead of 14 minutes. You can hop aboard the USB 3.0 adaptor train right now! British retailer StarTech.com is now offering a two port ExpressCard-based USB 3.0 adapter for $64, which has promised 5Gbps transfer speeds by incorporating SuperSpeed. However, an optional AC adapter is required to supply a full 900mA to each port, meaning an extra cord trailing from the card. It fully supports Control/Bulk/Interrupt/Isochronous Transfer USB communication types. This adapter may spur wide adoption of USB 3.0 in the market.
I know that most of you are familiar with Core-2-duo or Core-2-Quad CPU’s from your computer. It means a double CPU with two or four cores. But Intel challenged itself and produced a CPU with 48 cores in a single chip. You can think of cores as tiny brains in computers. Of course they are not for personal computers. This 48 cored-processor is designed with Cloud Computing in mind; those systems that allow you to maintain your data in the web’s virtual ‘cloud’ so that its accessible and secure wherever you need it… similar if not identical to the way mail2web Mobile Email offers your Exchangeemail, contacts and calendar access anywhere.
It consists of 1.3 billion transistor processors and can run with standard x86 software. So far, it has successfully booted Windows and Linux during demonstrations. It is energy conservative, too as the 48-core chip operates on as little as 25 watts, in maximum performance 125 watts. It was designed by 40 researchers. Intel made its first microprocessor in 1971 and it had about 2,300 transistors.
The first full HD 3D monitor will hit the market in a very short time by LG. This 23” full HD LCD monitor is ideal for 3D broadcasts, as well as for PC gamers. Shutter glasses are not needed for this 3D monitor, since it could switch between 2D and 3D as well. We are going to see this amazing 3D LCD in 2010. Unfortunately we don’t have any idea about its price; we’ll have to wait until 2010…

Finally Chrome extensions are ready to use. Chrome may just be able to catch up to Firefox now. They are not officially released but third party sites like www.chromextensions.org allow you to upload and use some useful extensions. I really liked “Aviary Screen Capture” and “Chrome Reader”.

Blobo squeezable game controller is roughly the size of a ping-pong ball. It contains a motion and pressure sensor and could be connected to your PC or cell phone via Bluetooth. You can consider it in the vein of a Wii controller as it works with same logic. The game controller comes with its own games, mostly sporty. You can run, jump, dribble, karate chop or be an archer. For a better idea of what you can do, watch this video about Blobo. Device and games cost €54.90 ($80).
Amazon announced upgrades to the Kindle on Tuesday. The upgrades include a battery life boost by about 85% and a native PDF reader added. The battery extension seems huge; it’s equal to 7 days with wireless turned on. But the PDF reader saves the users the hassle of converting documents from the PDF format and even enables them to transfer PDF documents via their @kindle.com email addresses or via USB. You don’t have to buy any hardware to get this upgrade, if you own Kindle the 2.3 software update is now available for download and installation via USB tethering.
