AT&T + T-Mobile merger in jeopardy

The FCC seems to think that the proposed merger between AT&T and T-Mobile will be unfair to its competition, and has sent the issue to a special hearing. As a result, it's now questionable as to whether this merger will go through.

AT&T could still save the deal. They may have to sell of a lot of T-Mobile's assets in order to do so, though: up to 40% of T-Mobile, in fact.
