Waldorf schools

I read an article yesterday about the Waldorf schools, a system that believes computers are not good for the attention spans or social development of children, and thus are computer-free zones. Any thoughts on this?

It seems strange to let children learn without computers today, given how prevalent they are in life and in so many careers. They may have a point about shortening attention spans, though!
