    Default web hosting log files

Do web hosts often provide log hosts so you can keep track of technical issues with your site? If not, what's the best software to create your own log files?

AWStats is a powerful and feature rich tool that generates advanced web, streaming, ftp or mail server statistics, graphically. This web log analyzer shows you all possible information your log contains, in a few graphical web pages. It uses a partial information file to be able to process large log files, often and quickly. It can analyze log files from all major server tools like Linux Apache log files and Windows IIS servers.
