outsourced customer service
I've seen some web hosting companies brag that they don't outsource their customer service. But does it really make a difference to a web hosting client if the customer help has been outsourced or not?

I think quality is critical in outsourced service. Poor service performance by the outside service supplier reflects directly on hosting company.
