    Default New iPhone coming soon?

Has anyone heard any news about Apple releasing a new iPhone soon? I hear there are rumors that they are going to make a big anouncement soon but I don't see any details surfacing yet.

They unveiled the iPhone 3G S yesterday at WWDC. Basically the S means Speed. It has more RAM so it will run faster, and will come in 16 GB and 32 GB models. Here's more info at TechCrunch:

I read about the new iPhone, it has a new video feature I think so you can take good videos wherever you go. They are also dropping the price of the standard iPhone to $99, which is a great deal.

I was reading today about how Palm, was releasing a new product that could match the iPhone. I would be interested in hearing about that.

I just can't get into the iPhone thing to be honest. Since they go through AT&T and they have such terrible service reviews, it doesn't strike me as being worth it.

The iPad tempted me briefly though, but I think that passed. My understanding is that it requires it's own data plan (although I could be wrong) and that seems like more cost than it's worth for my personal needs.

I agree Frankj... AT&T has been at the bottom of all the consumer polls lately for dropped calls and service interruptions which are pretty big issues... Supposedly this year they're going to invest a lot of money into increasing their coverage area to cut those problems down, but I won't believe it until I actually see it...
