Amazon is about to open its first retail store in Seattle. I think this is a cool idea, and I'd love to see more tech companies open their own versions of the Apple Store. (Imagine, for instance, a Twitter Store!)

We will see Google retail store soon. Here's the news:

According to 9to5Google, an "extremely reliable source" confirmed that Google is building stand-alone retail stores in the U.S. The first few stores are expected to open in major cities by the 2013 holiday season.
