offline Nokia Drive

Nokia is reportedly working on an update to Nokia Drive, its GPS program, so people can use it even when they're offline. Even as it is now, though, Nokia Drive has to be one of the most detailed and best GPS programs around.

This is good news. There are many times you need GPS when you're not online. I think the lack of offline access had been really the only flaw of Nokia Drive.

It seems that while maps can be downloaded offline, an internet connection is still required for routing.
