in the United States, Walmart's now giving away the Nokia Lumia 710. it's free for all customers who agree to a 2-year T-Mobile contract -- can't beat that kind of a deal.

I never understood how giving away free phones was a winning strategy for the vendor or the company making the phones. But a free phone's a free phone -- let's get more of these out there, please!
