Data cost?

Do all smartphone charge extra for accessing the internet? Att seems to be charging me alot for data costs. I was curious if anyone knew which companies have the best rates as i like to check my email alot on the go.

I'm pretty sure they all do. If you can find one that doesn't, you've just hit the lottery

There are different plan rates available, some companies charge more than others. I use ATT and they are pretty high. Their notebook broadband access is expensive too, but its nice to be able to have a broadband connection available almost anywhere.

You have to watch out those data costs, I have gotten high cell phone bills so many times! They put in so many programs when you first get your phone that automatically connect to the internet if you hit a button by accident. Personally I don't like that.

I've been burned by these high bills, too. I think the phone that does come without Internet charges will find a large and loyal audience.

Sometimes I'm shocked by my data fees at the end of the month. I must surf the web in my sleep or something.
