    Default dislike buttons

    I like that there aren't any dislike buttons on this forum. I feel like some users overuse the dislike buttons on forums that have them, and as a result people aren't as open as they otherwise might be.

    I dislike dislike buttons on forums, too. I think it's better just to give a respectful response if you disagree with a comment.

    On the other hand, a dislike button can be useful. A bunch of 'dislikes' might be a good instant indication that a comment is inaccurate or untrustworthy.
