A new SYmbian smartphone called the Nokia 803 may prove to be a historic phone. That's because there are rumors that this will be the last Symbian smartphone ever. Anyone believe that this is really the end?

yeah, it sure does look like this is the last Symbian phone. Symbian may continue as an OS even after it stops producing hardware, but even that's iffy right now.

I think Nokia has a deal with Symbian to keep using its OS in some phones until 2016. After that, we might not be seeing any Symbian phones anymore.

Nokia 808 PureView is a new claimant for the best cameraphone category, with the whopping 41MP sensor. It has a 4" OLED display, 1.3GHz processor with 512MB of RAM and runs Symbian Belle, meaning 340x640 screen resolution still.
