    Hi, I created a new outlook Profile (Start -> Settings -> Mail -> Profiles) but I do have the same problem. .

    If I has problems with passwords or mails I usually use-recover outlook password exchange server,because this tool is quite reliable and has free status.Moreover it can too works with the following mail accounts and services, such as IMAP mail servers, POP3 mail servers.

    Default passwords

    I had a similar issue, but it was because I attached my e-mail to the back end of a site. Turns out I had to use the same password throughout the entire website and e-mail program to make sure it jived.

    any updates on this situation? did the prompting issue end after you set up your outlook profile again??
