Default Problems verifying the SSL Certificate

ActiveSync is producing this error for me on ex7.mail2web.com
Disabling SSL enables synch, but that is not a desirable operating mode.
    Outlook client works fine.

Thanks for the good turn-around on the SSL certificate.
Could you suppress my email address as the username here? Or can I?

They did. The server had a certificate change to a GoDaddy class 2 SSL certificate - which is incapable with PalmOS devices. Customer service at mail2web is very good, and the problem is now resolved.

I could not find how to change my user name away from my email address. Guidance, please?

Are people's email addresses automatically used as their display names?
