Default 15 sec wait on email links

Why was the feature of the 15 sec wait time added? It adds 15 secs or one more click when I'm reading my emails.

    Hi There,

The purpose of the delay is to warn you that the link you clicked in your email is external and is not hosted by mail2web.com. If you don't want to wait the 15 seconds, we have provided you a link to click on that will redirect you to the website immediately.

    Hope this helps,

Does it cost extra to click on an external link? Or does the delay help prevent the spread of viruses?

It helps you to avoidn viruses. Personally, I like the delay, 'cause I hate opening any emails from unfamiliar sources.

I agree...I'd much rather wait 15 seconds than have to deal with a computer worm.
