    Default Undelete Option?

While clearing out spam from my Inbox, I accidentally deleted a legitimate email. I saw it flash by as the emails were getting deleted but couldn't stop the delete process.

I logged into my host's webmail interface and checked the Trash folder, but it was empty.

Is there some way to offer an Undelete ability? Perhaps a one-hour delay before deletions are permanent? Or perhaps deleted emails could be sent to the Trash bin instead of being permanently deleted?

    Hi DavidB52,
It's a great idea. I'll forward your suggestion to our technical team.
By the way, you can post your ideas on http://mail2web.com/ideas/ ,too!

It may not be possible as you describe because a connection to your mailbox is not maintained when you are not logged in. We do not store user password and so we could not implement a 1 hour deletion delay.

Also, for POP3 mailboxes there is only a connection directly to the mail server, there's no TRASH mailbox to move email to. For IMAP accounts, maybe it would work for Personal Webmail users, but would involve some development. As Birge suggested, you could add it to our the ideas page and see how popular it is

I'd like the undelete option to, if at all feasible. I'm kind of careless with email and often end up deleting things I don't mean to.
