Only 3 years old emails are shown

Hi,

As I am logging to see my new emails from my gmail account only from 2006 and older emails are displayed.
How could I fix this to see the really new gmail emails?

Gmail is an IMAP4-based email service, and mail2web Webmail uses this to connect just like it would to any other IMAP4 email account. However it's been my experience that Gmail is a little different, and as a result it may not display your emails as you would expect. I'm not sure what's going on here, but it is due to the way the Gmail servers are set up.

this problem sounds a little bizarre...would you recommend not using a gmail account with my2web if it can be avoided?

I don't think this would be as common as all that. There may be some particular setting that could correct this as we don't see many complaints from gmail users in this regard.
