Exclamation Never ending synchronization

I have serious issue with my mailbox hosted with you. Since few days ago, everytime activesync start synchronizing with exchange, it stucks on calendar in strange way... number of total items to be synchronized is constantly growing and synchronization is going on forever, draining battery dead in matter of two hours. After a while, it show more items to synchronize that how many of them actually is in whole calendar.

I ussually notice this is happening because phone become very hot, but even manually stopping activesync doesnt help, stop button became grey and sync is still going. All I can do is to reboot device. I have tried to solve it on my own, deleting exchange connection and all the entries in calendar, contacts and etc. After I configured everything back, it’s the same. I have also searched forum for someone having the same problem with this particular device, but didn’t found any. I have rebooted it several time, no help neither. I can't use it anymore, but I desperately need it for my work!

IMPORTANT:
I remember I had the same problem after you migrated my mailbox from exchange 2003 to 2007 and after I reported the issue, it was fixed. But it seems that no one remember how :-(

What type of device are you using? How large is your Exchange calendar currently with approximately how many items?

In case the issue is simply a corrupted item in your calendar, you might have luck by clearing out your calendar from your Exchange mailbox. Be sure to export your Exchange calendar to PST file via Outlook first so that it can be restored later. Configure Activesync on your device while the calendar is empty and import your calendar back using Outlook when (and if) everything is working properly. Before importing you may want to try issuing a PST repair on your exported PST file, see http://office.microsoft.com/en-ca/ou...563001033.aspx for details.

Cool

Since a couple of days I have the same problem. So my battery is running out in two/three hours. So it's not a sollution but until the problem is solved in de folder options at active sync on you phone take the -V- mark out of the calender. Now it's working properly and still synchronise your email.
Hope the problem solved soon. (I'm using HTC polaris with Windows Mobile 6.0)
