There’s no need to do this manually, mail2web Mobile Email offers automatic configuration scripts and even offers them during signup. If you’ve already signed up, simply log into your control panel or OWA to access the scripts.
The steps below are for manual configuration of your iPad. The following instructions assume that you have not already configured any other email account on your device.
- If you haven't set up any mail accounts yet, from the main menu, select Mail. Then select Microsoft Exchange.
If you have already set up another mail account, from the main menu choose Settings, then click on Mail, Contacts, Calendars and then click Add Account.
- You will be prompted to fill in your email address, username, password and description. You can fill in the Email field and Username field with your full email address, the password field with your account password, and any description you like. Also, depending on your firmware version you may also see a Domain field, which you can leave blank. Once you have completed filling in the fields, click Next to proceed.
- Your device will attempt to connect to the server, but will then prompt you to fill in the server name, which you should enter as ex7.mail2web.com.
- Click Next to complete the setup. You can now select if you want to synchronize your Mail, Contacts and Calendars. Select the options you want and click Save.
