BES Outage Update

The BES (BlackBerry) service outage that we were experiencing has been resolved. Message delivery is delayed as the BES servers deal with the backlog of messages. We expect service will be back to normal shortly.

We will be performing some maintenance on our mail servers tomorrow evening  (Thursday September 10th). This maintenance will only affect a small portion of our free mail2web Mobile email users. The work is scheduled to begin at 7:00 PM EDT and is expected to take approximately 1 hour to complete. During the maintenance the affected users will not be able to access their email accounts. Any messages sent to the affected addresses during the downtime will be delivered upon the completion of the maintenance. SharePoint Services Update – Friday, August 7th, 2009

We will be performing updates on our SharePoint services as well as maintenance to help correct search issues impacting some customer sites. This maintenance will begin at 9:00PM EDT and affected SharePoint sites will be intermittently offline for approximately 2 hours. Once it is back online there will be intermittent performance issues through the night as we work on the issue.

Monthly Maintenance

Microsoft released multiple security and software updates today, Tuesday July 14, and recommended that customers install these updates immediately. The greatest aggregate, maximum severity rating for these security updates is Important. Some of these updates require a server restart.

The Operations team will apply the updates on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings between 18:00 and 22:00 EDT to servers. There will be intermittent outages during these periods because of the required server reboots.

If you have a Windows PC at home, we recommend that you visit the Microsoft
Update website at http://update.microsoft.com/ and apply all relevant patches to your computer. For more information about current hotfixes, please visit http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/current.aspx .
