How do I create a SubWeb on my SharePoint 3.0 site

You can create a new site on a subweb and choose an alternate template for the subweb. You can follow these steps to create the subweb: 

  1. Log into your SharePoint site with your Admin account
  2. From the Site Actions menu select Create
  3. Under Web Pages click on Sites and Workspaces
  4. Fill in all the details of your new site. Under Web Site Address you can specify the name of your subweb. Under Template Selection you can choose either the default Team Site, or one of the other available Templates.
