This can be the result of a variety of problems.

  1. You may have mistyped your email address or password. Note that if there is an extra space at the end of your email address (e.g., "yourname@yourdomain.com "), this will produce a login error.
  2. mail2web.com can't determine the address of your mail server. Please contact your email service provider for this address, and then enter it into the Server name or IP address field in the Advanced Login page.
  3. You may be trying to access an IMAP4 email server from the Intelligent Login page. Please use Advanced Login for IMAP4 accounts.
  4. You may be trying to access a web-based email service such as Hotmail or Yahoo Mail without POP3 support. Please ensure that your email service supports POP3 accessibility.
  5. Your email server may be behind a firewall. Click here to find out how to configure your email server to be accessible by mail2web.com from behind a firewall.
  6. If you are still unable to connect after following steps 1 through 5 please contact your email provider.
