Outlook Setup Troubleshooting

This article applies to mail2web Mobile Email Pro users who are configuring their account as an Exchange account in Outlook.
If the Exchange over the Internet area does not appear on the Connection tab of the Microsoft Exchange Server dialog box, make sure that your computer meets the requirements to configure RPC over HTTPS. If you installed the service pack and the update package that are required, and the Exchange over the Internet area does not appear on the Connection tab, edit the Windows registry. To do this, follow these steps:
- Start Registry Editor.
Warning: Serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly by using Registry Editor or by using another method. These problems might require that you reinstall your operating system. mail2web.com cannot guarantee that these problems can be solved. Modify the registry at your own risk.
- Locate and then click the following registry subkey:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook\RPC
- Create the following registry entry if it does not exist:
Value name: EnableRPCtunnelingUI
Value type: REG_DWORD
Value data: 1
- Quit Registry Editor.
