  1. From the Start menu choose “Programs” and then select "ActiveSync".

  2. In ActiveSync, select the menu and then select "Add Server Source..."

  3. In the server address field enter ex7.mail2web.com and select the SSL check box. Then click "Next".

  4. Enter your Exchange Email address, and your password. You may leave the domain field blank. Select the Save Password check box if you want your device to be able to synchronize automatically. Then click "Next".

  5. Select the check box beside the items you want to synchronize. For some items, you can click "Settings..." to adjust how some items are synchronized. When you are done, click "Finish".

  6. Your device will then begin synchronizing for the first time.

As an alternative to the Configuration Steps, an automated configuration script is available through the mail2web.com Control Panel or Outlook Web Access interface. The configuration script will allow you to automatically configure your Windows Mobile Device for your own Exchange Account.

System Requirements

ActiveSync for Windows Mobile supports all Microsoft Windows Mobile devices. As a subscriber of mail2web.com Business Exchange you will receive the ActiveSync service necessary to synchronize your Exchange account with your Windows Mobile Device. Windows Mobile Devices and Data Plans are not provided by mail2web.com. Please contact your local service provider or mobile phone carrier.

  • Wireless Internet access on a Windows Mobile Device
  • A data plan and/or airtime subscription from a Wireless Service Provider
  • Email Direct Push and Task Sync require Windows Mobile 5.0 with AKU2 or Windows Mobile 6.0 devices
